Nowadays technology is all around us. It’s difficult to find a place free from it. And we cannot be surprised, because living without technology is almost impossible now. It’s got of course a lot of pros and cons. Being a fun of it, only depends on this: how you use it and how you like it.

For me, there are so many advantages of using modern technology, that I just cannot be an opponent of it.

At first, new technology is really convenient. You can use it everywhere and anytime you. For example, you are driving your car and at the same time you can listen to the music or radio. You are outdoors and even there you can check your e-mail, contact your friends and so on.

It makes our lives much more comfortable. There are more and more things in which machines help us. You don`t have to wash clothes by your hands, you just put it in a washing machine.

By using technology you can work much faster. If you search for some information, you don’t have to go to the library, you just look in the Internet. Watching news or hearing to the radio makes, that we know what has happened all around the world in a inconceivable short time.

I think modern technology is really worth- using, isn’t it? You just have to know how to use it sensibly, not to get addicted. But isn’t it a great thing? Doesn’t it make our life much more comfortable? I don’t see many disadvantages of it, but of course there are some. I’m just a big fun of new technology.

Why I am a fan of modern technology

Have you ever thought how technology affect our lives? You can think that, we rely to much on technology, it makes us lazy or polutes the environment. But is it true? I don't think so.

For example, simple device – calculator. How it helps us, almost everyday. We don't lose time for difficult counts. We can do more in shorter time. We have also certainty that we don't make a mistake.

I think modern technology is also good for the environment. 50 yers ago power stations used coal or oil. Now we have nuclear power plants and windmills wchich do not pollute the environment.

Technology allows us to do apparently impossible things. Our grandparents even didn't dream about space travel. And now? What people want to do? We are planning to colonize the Moon. Isn't it great?

I think technology is the main advantage of humanity. Without this we wouldn't differ from animals. Of course there are many threats of using technology, but, in my opinion, there is more qualities. We have to be careful to not use technology to destroy but to build. If we remember about this rule, world will be better.

Why I'm a fan of modern technology....

We can see technology in almost every domain of our lives. It's hard for me to imagine my existence without, for example, mobile phone, or internet access.

Mobile phone. Undoubtedly there are many opponents of modern technology, but do you think, they don't use it at all ? It is device, that makes our communication much easier than it was before. We don't have to write a letter and wait for deliver it, for few days even, if we want to say something short.

The next thing we should consider is using technology in medicine. How many diseases can we cure nowadays using technique ? We are much healthier today and we also live much longer than, for example, 200 years ago.

To sum up: we are all addicted to technology and i don't believe, that some day it could change. I hope, that I submitted good enough arguments to persuade you, that modern technology is integral part of our live.

btw. In Juniors 2 there is a group called "Groundhog". What does it mean ? I can't find it in dictionary.
